What you provide and what we collect
During the registration process, the types of personal information you provide to us may include, name, address, phone, email address, username and password, billing information, transaction, and credit card information. Users who are meant to watch our training content via our cloud platform will be asked to register and provide their first name, last name and email address. Once users participate in training courses, we will store users quiz results for the duration of the contract.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, place an order or register an account, you, or you on behalf of the organization you are an authorized representative of, consent to our collecting it and using it for the purposes of processing that transaction and our legitimate business purposes.
When you receive a marketing email, you may choose to opt out. You can opt out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email. You can also opt out by emailing us at info at popcorntraining.com
How we use it

Popcorn Training Cloud registration:
We collect your personal information upon cloud registration for the following purposes:
To allow you to view training content.
To request assistance or fill out support requests.
To allow you the ability to manage students use of the training programs.
User personal information is used purely for in system reporting and training management purposes and will not be used for any other purposes.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal information. When you register, Popcorn Training will not share your information with third parties without your permission. Your information may be shared with authorized agents, affiliates’ respective employees, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, agents, attorneys, accountants, lenders, advisors or contractors of Popcorn Training for the sole purpose of performing the services or for Popcorn Training’s internal business and compliance functions. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so.
Popcorn Training uses third party vendor and hosting partner Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Heroku to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the service. Although Popcorn Training owns the code, databases, and all rights to our application, you retain all rights to your files and data. Prior to Popcorn Training granting third parties access to your personal information, it will ensure proper protections are in place and proper agreements have been entered into by Popcorn and such third party as applicable and required by law and are not authorized to use your data for any reason outside of the limited and specific purposes for which we contracted them, unless such disclosure is required by law or by a valid government mandate.
We may also disclose your information to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding. We may also disclose your information for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information or with your consent.
Popcorn Training takes safeguarding your information seriously. We employ commercially reasonable and industry standard measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Only authorized agents, affiliates’ respective employees, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, agents, attorneys, accountants, lenders, advisors or contractors who are bound by protections of confidentiality to keep the information secure and confidential.
All staff and contractors working for Popcorn Training abide by Popcorn Training’s security policy outlining the importance of protecting personal information, making use of security technologies such as two factor authentication, strong passwords and encryption and being vigilant. No method of transmission, or method of electronic storage over the internet is 100% secure, however, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you would like to access your personal information and correct, amend, or delete the information where it is inaccurate, please contact us at info at popcorntraining.com. Note that there may be specific circumstances in which we cannot delete your Personal Information. When we delete your Personal Information, it will be erased from our records, however, the personal data may still be archived in our backups.
Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation
Popcorn Training will only process Personal Information for the purposes for which it has been collected or for our legitimate business purposes as described above. Popcorn Training takes upon the obligation to ensure that personal data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current.
Data is hosted in Amazon (AWS) ISO 27001 and FISMA certified data centers data centres in Ireland and automatically encrypted while at rest.
