Popcorn Training respects your privacy and we are committed to developing technology that protects user’s personal information and privacy. What we collect

When you purchase something from Popcorn Training, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. End users who are meant to watch our training content via our cloud platform will be asked to register and provide their first name, last name and email address. Once users participate in training courses, we will store users quiz results for the duration of the contract.

Like many websites, we may also use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We never sell, or rent your personal information. When you register, Popcorn Training will not share your information with third parties without your permission. Your information may be shared with authorized agents or contractors of Popcorn Training for the sole purpose of performing service for Popcorn Training. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so.

Popcorn Training uses third party vendor and hosting partner Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Heroku to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the service. Although Popcorn training owns the code, databases, and all rights to the our application, you retain all rights to your files and data. The agreements we entered with these 3rd parties does not grant them access to your personal information, unless requested by ourselves or a valid government mandate.

Security

Popcorn Training is very concerned with safeguarding your information. We employ reasonable measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.
All staff and contractors working for Popcorn Training abide by Popcorn Training’s security policy outlining the importance of protecting personal information, making use of security technologies such as two factor authentication, strong passwords and encryption and being vigilant.

Data

Data is hosted in Amazon (AWS) ISO 27001 and FISMA certified data centers data centres in Ireland and automatically encrypted while at rest.
